Job summary

Technatomy Corporation seeks a Federal Financial Management Specialist to translate federal accounting requirements into validated business processes for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. The role includes USSGL/SFIS alignment, budget execution, and supporting audit evidence as well as reconciliation efforts.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in financial management, accounting, or financial-system implementation

• Experience with financial controls, audit support, and documentation of accounting decisions
• Experience translating policy into system or process requirements and validating system-generated accounting
• Ability to explain accounting events and control requirements to technical teams

Responsibilities

• Define and validate USSGL, SFIS, Army Standard Chart of Accounts, and Standard Line of Accounting mappings
• Analyze accounting events, funds controls, accruals, budgetary and proprietary entries, and financial close procedures
• Translate financial policy into requirements, control objectives, configuration decisions, and test scenarios
• Advise on internal controls over financial reporting and financial systems and the evidence needed to support audits
• Review reconciliations, financial statements, reports, and Treasury exchanges with business and system owners
• Support Army Working Capital Fund cost-accounting requirements, stabilized rates, and Net and Accumulated Operating Results
• Validate system-generated accounting and resolve financial treatment questions with functional specialists and Government policy owners
• Support migration validation, user acceptance testing, and readiness reviews for approved financial capabilities

We are seeking a Federal Financial Management Specialist to translate federal and Army financial-management requirements into validated business processes and accounting outcomes for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) solution. The solution includes Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management. The specialist will advise functional and technical teams on accounting, budget execution, controls, reconciliation, and audit evidence while coordinating policy decisions with Government financial owners.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define and validate USSGL, SFIS, Army Standard Chart of Accounts, and Standard Line of Accounting mappings.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 7+ years of experience in financial management, accounting, or financial-system implementation, including 3+ years supporting federal or DoD financial operations.
• Applied knowledge of USSGL, SFIS, federal fund accounting, and budgetary and proprietary reconciliation.
• Experience with financial controls, audit support, and documentation of accounting decisions.
• Experience translating policy into system or process requirements and validating system-generated accounting.
• Ability to explain accounting events, reconciliation results, and control requirements to functional and technical teams.
• Ability to coordinate financial decisions with accountable Government owners and document clear acceptance criteria.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:

• Knowledge of Army Standard Chart of Accounts and Standard Line of Accounting structures.
• Experience with Treasury interfaces and Army Working Capital Fund accounting.
• Experience with ERP modernization or Dynamics 365 Finance processes.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, public administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and professional experience.

CLEARANCE / SUITABILITY:

• Must meet Government citizenship and background check requirements. Any required security clearance and access approvals must be obtained before accessing Government systems or project data and maintained throughout the assignment.

WORK LOCATION:

• Remote within the United States.
