Job summary

Technatomy Corporation is seeking a Data Architect to define data models, ownership standards, and integration structures supporting Army Finance modernization on D365 F&O. The architect will connect financial and operational requirements to governed data designs for migration, integration, reporting, and historical archives while preserving authoritative records and traceable financial results.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data engineering, modeling, or architecture.
• 3+ years designing enterprise data models and integration standards.
• Experience with ERP master data and transaction data; SQL; source-to-target mapping.
• Knowledge of metadata, data lineage, reference-data governance, and authoritative data ownership.
• Experience designing data structures for migration and reconciliation.
• Ability to define canonical data contracts and resolve dependencies.

• Define data-quality and access requirements across D365 F&O, integration platform, and analytics services.
• Review engineering designs and resolve data issues with stakeholders.

We are seeking a Data Architect to define the data models, ownership standards, and integration structures supporting Army Finance modernization on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O). The solution includes Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management. The architect will connect financial and operational requirements to governed data designs for migration, integration, reporting, and historical archives while preserving authoritative records and traceable financial results.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop conceptual, logical, and integration data models across the Finance solution and its connected systems.
• Identify authoritative sources, data owners, master and reference data, and rules for sharing information across platforms.
• Define metadata, lineage, versioned data contracts, and standards for source-to-target mappings.
• Guide mappings for the U.S. Standard General Ledger (USSGL), Standard Financial Information Structure (SFIS), and Army organizational and force-element hierarchies.
• Design data structures supporting financial-event translation, reconciliation, and traceability from source records to reports.
• Guide migration and archive design, including ownership, completeness, retrieval, and historical-data relationships.
• Define data-quality and access requirements across D365 F&O, the data integration platform, and approved analytics services.
• Review engineering designs and resolve data issues with functional consultants, migration teams, security staff, and Government data owners.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, modeling, or architecture, including 3+ years designing enterprise data models and integration standards.
• Experience with ERP master data and transaction data, SQL, and source-to-target mapping.
• Knowledge of metadata, data lineage, reference-data governance, and authoritative data ownership.
• Experience designing data structures and controls for migration and financial reconciliation.
• Ability to define canonical data contracts and resolve data dependencies across multiple systems.
• Ability to produce clear data models and standards and communicate design decisions to business and technical stakeholders.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:

• Experience with D365 F&O data structures and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of federal financial data standards, including USSGL and SFIS.
• Experience with Army organizational data, force-element hierarchies, or financial-system modernization.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and professional experience.

CLEARANCE / SUITABILITY:

• Must meet Government citizenship and background check requirements. Any required security clearance and access approvals must be obtained before accessing Government systems or project data and maintained throughout the assignment.

WORK LOCATION:

• Remote within the United States.
