Job summary

MIRACORP in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Contract Facility Manager (CFM) to support GSA PBS by managing daily operations, inspections, and project activities across facilities that support the DHS Lease Administration Management program. The role ensures compliance with property management standards and coordinates with tenants and contractors.

The CFM reports to the COR, assists with budgeting, prepares reports, and serves as on-site representative during construction.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressive experience in construction project management or managing leased properties.
• Knowledge of architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, fire alarm systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or ten years of relevant management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of building codes and ability to resolve contractor/tenant issues.
• Ability to obtain and maintain HSPD-12 clearance and government smart card.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with GSA tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and manage facilities to ensure compliance with GSA standards and lease terms.
• Support construction/repair projects with cost estimates and scopes of work; monitor progress.
• Act as on-site GSA representative during construction, enforcing safety and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Prepare inspection reports, draft correspondence, and support budgeting and financial tracking.
• Manage tenant relationships, address concerns, and support space modifications.
• Attend meetings and represent GSA interests in coordination with contractors and agencies.
