Job summary

Johnson Controls Federal Systems seeks an ESS Project Manager to lead a portfolio of electronic and integrated security system projects for federal sites, based in Huntsville, AL with travel to Little Rock AFB. You will manage schedules, procurement, subcontractors, and billing while ensuring quality and safety standards.

The role requires several years of PM experience in security systems, with P&L oversight and the ability to obtain government security clearances.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of direct project management experience in building construction or facilities maintenance.
• Experience with electronic security systems (EES) including design, scope evaluation, change orders, and installation standards.
• Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearances (background/character, criminal history, employment, and credit checks).

Responsibilities

• Lead execution on assigned ESS projects; develop and manage project schedules.
• Oversee procurement, subcontracts, and progress payments while ensuring scope and budget compliance.
• Ensure safety standards and contract requirements are met; communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Coordinate materials, vendors, and subcontractors; manage risk and recovery plans.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting, including status updates and invoicing.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with design, installation and warranty requirements.
