Job summary

Johnson Controls Federal Systems is seeking an ESS Project Manager for our federal team in Huntsville, AL, supporting Minot AFB, ND. You will oversee electronic security system projects, including access controls, intrusion detection, and video management, across government sites with a focus on quality, schedule, and cost control.

The role emphasizes leadership of project teams, subcontractor coordination, and compliant execution with safety and contract requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years direct project management in building/construction or facilities maintenance.
• Experience with Electronic Security Systems (EES) including scope, change orders and installation standards.
• Experience managing project finances (P&L) and coordinating subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution for assigned ESS projects; develop and manage schedules.
• Manage materials, vendors, subcontractors, scope and procurement.
• Prepare and issue subcontracts; ensure on-time, in-scope, within-budget delivery.
• Ensure health and safety standards and policy adherence.
• Identify growth opportunities to meet customer outcomes.
• Provide periodic project status, revenue, cost and gross margin forecasts.
• Maintain project documentation and communications with leadership.
