CDM Smith is seeking an experienced engineer to serve as a technical liaison among federal government design teams, construction branches, and contractors on complex projects. You will review submittals, reports, and specifications for compliance with standards, applying engineering principles across planning, review, and construction administration.

Strong communication with military clients and partners is essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of design review, construction administration, cost estimating, scheduling, and contract management.
• Demonstrates technical proficiency and design application knowledge.
• Strong writing and oral communication skills to work with military clients, contractors, and government teams.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the technical liaison between federal government client design branch, construction branch, and contractors.
• Review design submittals, shop drawings, specifications, RFIs, and technical reports for compliance with Federal and client standards.
• Apply engineering principles across planning, investigation, design review, construction administration, and assessment.
• Monitors progress and prepares technical reports and project status updates.
• Provide engineering judgment for field modifications and constructability reviews.
• Develop and maintain client relationships through responsive communication and technical support.
