Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a federal background check.
• Knowledge of design review, construction administration, cost estimating, scheduling, and contract management.
• Strong writing and oral communication skills to work with military clients and government teams.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and handle design conflicts in the field.
• Travel up to 100% is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical liaison between federal design branch, construction branch, and contractors.
• Review design submittals, shop drawings, specs, RFIs, and reports for compliance with standards.
• Apply engineering principles across planning, design review, construction administration, and assessment.
• Monitor progress and prepare technical reports and project status updates.
• Provide engineering judgment for field modifications and constructability reviews.
• Assist in cost estimates and coordination with government cost estimators.
• Mentor junior staff and maintain client relationships with responsive communication.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings, progress reviews, and closeout activities.
