Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Reviews draft designs for compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Ensures that firm policies and practices are followed on all designs.
• Performs site reviews and studies to ensure designs align with location specifications.
• Updates design requirements as necessary.
• Contributes to firm's technical papers and design documentation for new or special cases.
• Submits technical papers for publishing to journals.
• Collaborates with sales staff to create proposals in response to RFPs.
• Reviews draft proposals for adherence to regulations and best practices.
• Meets with current and potential clients to review design needs.
• Attends conferences to improve visibility of products and services.
• Provides technical guidance and training to junior staff.
• Mentors junior staff for growth within the discipline.
• May supervise the work of junior engineers on project work.
