Job summary

Varonis is seeking a Federal Account Executive to sell to civilian agencies such as DHS, HHS, and US Courts. You’ll align with a Federal Sales Engineer to build business justifications and meet quotas. Location preference is DC, MD, and VA metro area.

You will identify decision-makers, present Varonis solutions, and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to proposals, with travel varying by territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of B2B sales experience or equivalent.
• Technology industry experience preferred.
• Experience selling security software through channel partners to Federal Civilian Agencies.
• Salesforce and Outlook skills preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• A pre-existing list of contacts in the territory is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn technical aspects of Varonis products.
• Security clearance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and identify key decision-makers within targeted leads.
• Present and sell Varonis products and services to current and potential clients.
• Follow up on leads and referrals while expanding the contact database.
• Uphold sales activities: prospecting, cold calling, bookings, demos, and proposals.
• Present to C-level clients and resellers via compelling product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers and Channel Managers on strategic approach.
• Maintain customer relationships and resolve issues; support reseller channel.
• Keep account information and activity up-to-date in CRM and participate in events.
