Job summary

Reliance Test & Technology, EGLIN AFB, FL, is seeking a Buyer III – Contracts & Procurement to manage the lifecycle of federal acquisitions from planning to closeout.

This role requires a degree, 2–4 years of DoD contracting experience, and clearance eligibility. You will work with internal stakeholders to ensure compliant procurement and supplier performance, in a security-sensitive environment on base.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
• 2–4 years of federal government contracting or procurement experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Costpoint experience is desirable.
• Excellent organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a US DoD security clearance; background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement from planning through contract closeout.
• Prepare RFPs, conduct bidder conferences, evaluate proposals, negotiate requirements, and select suppliers.
• Monitor contractor performance and maintain FAR/DFARS compliant contract files.
