Job summary

People Technology And Processes seeks a Contracts Manager III at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005 to provide senior-level acquisition and contract planning support for CPE IEW&S programs. The role requires a DoD-level contracting background and a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities include reviewing critical acquisition documents, tracking milestones with the Army ACC, and leading contract actions across the lifecycle to ensure compliance and timely execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business.
• A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in contracting.
• Certification: DAU Contracting Level II Certified or industry equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review critical acquisition documents (PWS, QASPs, SCAs, Acquisition Plans, Contract Strategies).
• Analyze contract metrics and monitor milestones with ACC and ALT / award slips.
• Manage ETMS 2 database taskers to ensure timely completion.
• Liaise between PMs and ACC across the acquisition lifecycle.
• Provide policy-writing support during IPT processes.
• Support Program Status Reviews and coordinate contract training.
• Prepare industry day decks and facilitate contractual deep-dives.
• Route RSCA through signatory channels.
• Perform risk analysis on contracting milestones and new regs.
• Support procurement tools (PPMT, BI reports) and update content.
• Develop methods to improve cost, schedule, performance in acquisitions; DoD 5000/ACAT experience.
