Job summary

Allegiance Group seeks a seasoned Safety (SSHO)/ Superintendent / Quality Control professional for federal projects in the Chicago area. The role combines site supervision, quality control, and safety oversight, with emphasis on two of the three areas for suitability. Strong federal experience and EM 385-1-1 knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial or federal construction, with two of three areas (Superintendent, QC, Safety/SSHO).
• Federal/government project experience preferred and knowledge of EM 385-1-1, OSHA requirements.
• Certifications such as CQM-C, OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day site operations on federal construction projects in Chicago.
• Manage subcontractors, manpower, schedules, logistics, and site coordination.
• Coordinate with PMs, government reps, engineers and trade partners.
• Monitor progress and resolve field issues quickly; ensure safety and quality.
• Maintain documentation to meet contract and federal QC standards.
