Job summary

GMHILL Engineering seeks a seasoned Superintendent (Triple Hat) to lead on-site field operations on USACE federal construction projects. The role blends Superintendent, SSHO, and QAQC responsibilities with a focus on EM 385-1-1 safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 5–10+ years in federal construction management, with OSHA 30, CQM-C, and First Aid/CPR certifications. Procore and RMS/QCS proficiency is required; candidates must be U.S. citizens or meet client security requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s in CM/Engineering preferred.
• 5-10+ years in construction management, safety, or QA/QC on federal projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
• Lead subcontractors and field teams to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
• Serve as the on-site SSHO, implementing the Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and conducting safety meetings.
• Act as the QAQC representative, conducting inspections and managing submittals.
• Write and submit daily reports, safety reports, and quality control documentation using Procore and RMS/QCS.
• Coordinate permits, resolve jurisdictional issues, and manage jobsite logistics.
• Conduct preparatory and initial quality control meetings with subcontractors and project teams.
• Monitor site safety through daily walkthroughs and weekly safety meetings.
