W. G. Yates & Sons Construction Company seeks a qualified Quality Control Manager for Federal construction projects (USACE/NAVFAC) at Fort Hood, TX.

The role oversees the Contractor Quality Control program, ensures contract compliance, and coordinates QC activities with government representatives and project teams. The successful candidate will manage QC templates, DFOW, and test/inspection documentation, while mentoring project teams and promoting safety and quality across complex construction

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of construction quality control experience.
• Experience on federal projects (USACE/NAVFAC) preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and administer the Contractor Quality Control program per USACE/NAVFAC requirements.
• Coordinate daily QC activities and document NCRs, tests, and inspections.
• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific CQC and Quality Management Plans.
• Chair DFOW, Preparatory and Initial Phase meetings and ensure corrective actions are closed.
• Support safety alignment with project leaders and OSHA/EM 385-1-1 compliance.
