Job summary

W. G. Yates & Sons Construction Company seeks a Quality Control Manager for Federal construction programs. The role leads the Contractor Quality Control program, interfaces with Government QA staff, and ensures compliance with USACE/NAVFAC standards across complex projects.

Responsibilities include developing CQC plans, managing DFOW/documents, and coordinating inspections, tests, and corrective actions to achieve defect-free deliverables and project success.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Construction Management, Engineering, Quality Management, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Minimum five years of construction quality control experience.
• Minimum seven years of commercial, industrial, federal, or heavy civil construction experience preferred.
• Experience serving as Quality Control Manager on USACE/NAVFAC or similar federal projects strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all quality control activities to ensure compliance with contract documents and standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific CQC Plans and Quality Management Plans.
• Coordinate with Government QA Representatives, design professionals, consultants, testing agencies, and trade partners.
• Maintain NCR, deficiency, punch list, and DFOW documentation; verify corrective actions.
