Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Assurance Analyst to monitor and evaluate construction activities for compliance with contract documents, project specs, safety standards, and quality requirements. This on-site role supports successful project execution on a 3-year federal project in TX with sites including Big Bend, El Paso, Del Rio, Laredo and McAllen.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction quality assurance, quality control, inspection, project engineering, construction oversight, or related field experience (horizontal construction preferred).
• Experience reviewing and managing quality documentation, reports, submittals, inspections, and compliance records.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with contractors, government representatives, and project stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and monitor ongoing construction activities.
• Review and validate contractor quality documentation, inspection reports, test reports, and submittals.
• Verify compliance with construction drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Track deficiencies, corrective actions, and quality-related issues through resolution.
• Assist with progress reporting and documentation of construction activities.
• Support processing and review of pay estimate documentation.
• Audit contractor quality processes and procedures.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders regarding quality concerns and corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed records to support project compliance requirements.
• Ensure adherence to applicable construction industry standards, federal requirements, and safety regulations.
