Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to support federal construction projects at Dyess AFB, TX.

You will review contractor performance, monitor schedules, evaluate QA, and manage documentation, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget compliance with contract requirements and federal standards. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, 7–10 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with USACE/DoD programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field required.
• Minimum seven (7) years of engineering/construction management or ten (10) years managing construction projects.
• Experience with USACE/DoD/federal construction programs preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, UFC, EM 385-1-1, and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review QA work for accuracy and provide technical guidance on plans and codes.
• Review contractor schedules for compliance with methods and contract terms.
• Manage construction documentation, submittals, and shop drawings for contract compliance.
• Monitor contractor activities and advise Government to prevent delays.
• Prepare change order and negotiation documents; support contract administration.
• Coordinate with Government, contractors, designers, and stakeholders.
