Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. invites a Project Engineer to support Federal construction programs at Fort Devens, MA. The role involves project engineering, observation, and reporting to government personnel, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.

The position emphasizes contract administration, quality control, and coordination with DoD agencies. Strong communication and ability to obtain access to military installations are essential.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required with strong knowledge of contract administration and/or office engineering.
• Seven+ years of experience in contract administration or office engineering with building construction/engineering design.
• Experience with USACE/DoD programs preferred; RMS familiarity helpful.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schedules, and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction, contract administration, and quality assurance activities per policies and regulations.
• Review design/construction issues and advise government personnel on contract compliance and environmental requirements.
• Develop solutions to discrepancies identified during construction and coordinate with DoR/CFM for recommendations.
• Review project schedules, progress, and contract payments; provide guidance on timelines.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance reps to verify progress aligns with contract value.
• Prepare daily reports, QA plans, and modification scopes of work for COR signature.
