Olgoonik Corporation seeks a Construction Manager to oversee multi-year federal construction projects across multiple sites. You will manage all construction activities, coordinate with government clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure compliance with contract, schedule, budget, safety, and quality standards.

The role requires a minimum of ten years in construction management with emphasis on federal projects; a related engineering or CM degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of progressive experience in construction management, with emphasis on federal construction projects, maintenance, repair, and minor construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Demonstrated experience in construction cost estimating, cost control, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Familiarity with U.S. Federal Government contracts and CQC systems; experience with international construction environments is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Manage and oversee all construction activities from notice to proceed through project closeout, ensuring contract compliance, safety, and quality.
• Participate in scoping and planning, including constructability reviews, cost estimating, schedule development, and risk identification.
• Prepare cost estimates, technical narratives, and supporting documentation for proposals, modifications, and negotiations with Government clients.
• Utilize client-specified estimating tools and formats, including Microsoft Excel and industry-standard software.
• Develop subcontractor scopes of work and bid packages; evaluate proposals; select subcontractors based on best value; administer subcontract agreements.
• Provide day-to-day oversight of subcontractor performance to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
• Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and material data for compliance with contract specifications.
• Coordinate construction activities with project managers, superintendents, QC, safety, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure Contractor Quality Control (CQC) requirements are implemented and maintained.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including schedules, progress reports, redlines, and as-built documentation.
• Monitor project performance, identify issues or risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as primary contact with Government representatives for construction-related matters, inspections, meetings, and reporting.
• Support and enforce the company safety program and site Accident Prevention Plans.
