Job summary

Olgoonik Corporation seeks a QC/Safety Manager to lead the project Quality Control Program and support site safety compliance during all construction phases on a federal installation. The role conducts submittal reviews, coordinates with Government QA, and ensures documentation and records are thorough and accurate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM or related field; experience in QA/QC and safety on federal construction projects.
• Experience reviewing construction submittals against drawings/specs and coordinating with government QA personnel.
• OSHA 30-Hour and CQM certification preferred; familiar with EM 385-1-1 and federal project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Quality Control Program per contract requirements and QC Plan.
• Review and approve submittals (shop drawings, product data, certificates) for field use.
• Verify materials/equipment meet contract drawings and specs.
• Maintain submittal register; coordinate routing, tracking, and disposition of submittals.
• Conduct QC inspections and document findings; track deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Government QA, inspectors, and design teams during inspections.
• Maintain field red-line drawings for final record drawings and closeout.
• Support safety program implementation per Site-Specific Safety Plan; conduct toolbox talks.
