Job summary

Olgoonik Corporation is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to manage maintenance, renovation, repair and construction projects of varying size, providing supervision of employees and subcontractors. You will produce detailed estimates, technical narratives, subcontractor bids, and schedules to drive contracts to completion.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in engineering, construction, or similar field with emphasis in project management and estimating.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred; extensive experience in lieu of degree considered.

Responsibilities

• Participates in scoping sessions with the client and produces detailed estimates and technical narratives to present and negotiate with the client.
• Produces subcontractor bid packages, selects subcontractors and suppliers based best value, issues contract and administers and oversees subcontractor activities.
• Coordinates with field personnel to ensure expectations are met. Reviews subcontractor material, approved submittals and shop drawings and checks construction for compliance.
• Produces in-house production reports, critical path schedules, schedules of value, progress reports, etc. to effectively manage several projects at once.
