Job summary

Olgoonik is seeking a QC/Safety Manager to lead on-site quality control for a major federal construction project in Colorado. You will administer the QC Program, review submittals, and coordinate with Government representatives to ensure work meets contract drawings and specifications.

The role requires conducting inspections, producing daily reports, and maintaining records, while upholding safety standards and collaborating with the project team to resolve issues and support closeout.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of construction QA/QC, QA/QC program management, and safety oversight.
• Experience supporting large federal construction projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with submittal review processes, shop drawings, and material certifications.

Responsibilities

• Administer the project Quality Control Program per contract and QC Plan.
• Review and approve subcontractor/supplier submittals and material certifications.
• Coordinate with Government QA personnel and design teams during inspections and meetings.
• Maintain field records, daily QC reports, and deficiency logs.
• Ensure nonconforming work is corrected and documented.
• Support project closeout with complete QA records and manuals.
