Job summary

CDM Smith in the United States is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager for Federal programs. You will plan, direct, and manage all phases of projects to ensure delivery on scope, budget, and schedule.

You will coordinate contractors and on-site personnel, act as the primary liaison with the federal client, review documents for FAR compliance, lead pre-construction and progress meetings, and enforce safety and quality standards across sites. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction codes and specs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and manage Federal construction projects to meet scope, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate activities of contractors and on-site staff to ensure safety and quality.
• Serve as liaison between federal client, stakeholders, and contractors.
• Review construction documents for FAR compliance and codes.
• Lead pre-construction and progress meetings and manage punch lists.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and quality standards are met on sites.
• Document progress with daily reports and official correspondence.
• Travel up to 100%.
• Mentor junior staff.
