Job summary

Factory is seeking a Federal Compliance Lead to build and run our federal compliance program from the ground up. You will ensure government deals meet FAR, DFARS, and ethics requirements while keeping deals moving, partnering with our Federal sales team, Deal Desk, Legal, Engineering, and Security, and you will own the policies, processes, and guidance that let Factory sell to the U.S.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in federal procurement compliance, government contracts management, or federal sales operations at an enterprise SaaS, cloud platform, or defense tech company.
• Deep working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, OTA mechanisms, and federal subcontract flow-downs.
• Experience building or leading compliance programs for cloud software with DoD/agency requirements.
• Ability to design policies, procedures, and monitoring for government deals.
• Strong cross-functional communication with sales, legal, product, and security teams.
• U.S. Citizenship with security clearance eligibility or active clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build Factory’s Federal Compliance Architecture: design and implement the public sector sales compliance program.
• Accelerate Federal Transactions: collaborate with Federal Account Execs and Deal Desk through opportunity to award.
• Enforce Standards: ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and related acts across government deals.
• Bridge Product and Security: align roadmap with federal certifications and authorization requirements.
• Govern Ethics Programs: administer ethics guidelines and manage conflicts of interest and post-government restrictions.
• Monitor Emerging Federal AI Policy: track directives and translate into actionable guidance.
