Job summary

Factory is seeking a Federal Compliance Lead to build and run our federal compliance program from the ground up, ensuring all government deals meet federal acquisition, security, and ethics requirements.

You will partner with the Federal sales team, Deal Desk, Legal, Engineering, and Security, owning policies and guidance to enable trusted government deals. Location preferred in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in federal procurement compliance, government contracts, or federal sales ops at an enterprise SaaS/cloud company.
• Deep knowledge of FAR, DFARS, OTA mechanisms, and flow-downs for subcontracting.
• Experience applying compliance to cloud software, including FedRAMP pathways, DoD IL, and NIST controls.
• Ability to design and build a new compliance program from the ground up in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to translate dense regulatory requirements into clear guidance for sales, engineering, and legal teams.
• U.S. Citizenship with active clearance preferred or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Build Factory’s Federal Compliance Architecture with policies, SOPs, and monitoring for government deals.
• Work with Federal Account Executives and Deal Desk through qualification to award, reviewing RFIs/RFPs/RFQs for compliance.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, the Trade Acts, OTA flow-downs, and NDAA-related requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Security to align product roadmap with federal certifications and authorization standards.
• Administer ethics guidelines, conflicts of interest, and post-government employment restrictions.
• Monitor emerging federal AI policy and cyber risk mandates to produce actionable guidance.
