Cornerstone Government Affairs, Inc. seeks a full-time Compliance Manager in our Washington, D.C. office to oversee federal and state lobbying and ethics compliance, including LDA, FARA, and state reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has at least a bachelor’s degree in legal studies, political science, public policy, government affairs, business administration, or a related field.
• At least three years of relevant work experience; advanced degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with, and over time helping to lead, the firm’s federal Lobbying Disclosure Act (LDA) compliance and reporting.
• Assisting with the firm’s Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) reporting and compliance.
• Assisting with, and over time helping to lead, various state ethics compliance and reporting.
• Assessing and planning for emerging state lobbying and ethics compliance needs.
• Assisting with all new employee compliance and ethics trainings.
• Providing support as needed on the firm’s federal client contracts, subcontracts, and non-disclosure agreements by reviewing and editing documents; and,
• Serving as a key contact and advisor for all compliance and ethics related matters.
