Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Federal Civilian Solutions Architect to serve as the primary technical strategist for federal agencies, SI's and partners in the DMV region. You will map agency needs to Elastic Stack capabilities, drive technical wins, and shape modern, secure data architectures.

You will lead engagements across the sales cycle, advocate for customer requirements with product teams, and build executive relationships across CIOs, CISOs and CTOs while championing

Qualifications

• 4+ years of presales or solutions architecture in enterprise software or federal space.
• Familiarity with federal mission areas and IT modernization initiatives.
• Ability to articulate ROI and lead technical evaluations.
• Experience with AI systems, foundation models, and secure data environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as mission strategist for Federal Civilian accounts.
• Architect value-driven solutions across agency IT landscapes.
• Build executive and technical trust with customer leadership.
• Lead demonstrations, POCs, and architectural prototypes.
• Collaborate with FSIs, VARs, and partners.
• Advocate for federal requirements to Elastic PM/Eng.
• Represent Elastic at regional public sector events.
