Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Project Manager to lead federal child support enforcement modernization initiatives. The role focuses on technology modernization, program operations, and certification readiness, coordinating with federal staff, state IV-D agencies, and partners to drive implementation and risk management.

You will manage multi-stream workplans, deliverables, and governance while guiding teams through complex policy, data, and technology workstreams.

Qualifications

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD PUBLIC TRUST; active or suitability preferred.
• 5+ years of professional project management experience leading complex federal/state initiatives.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and client-facing programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management leadership and oversight for child support modernization activities.
• Manage workplans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, staffing, and internal coordination.
• Provide strategic direction across workstreams and translate priorities into action.
• Oversee risk, issue, and dependency management with mitigation strategies.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team supporting modernization activities across policy, data, tech, and communications.
• Serve as primary client-facing coordination point with federal staff and state IV-D agencies.
• Guide development of APDs, feasibility studies, and implementation plans.
• Review executive briefings, dashboards, and portfolio analyses; support communications.
• Coordinate across data, technology, and program teams to identify opportunities and best practices.
• Support continuous improvement by monitoring performance and lessons learned.
