Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a experienced Strategy & Transformation Consultant to support federal child support technology modernization initiatives in the Washington area. You will join a multidisciplinary team to enhance project planning, certification readiness, and long-term program effectiveness for IV-D programs.

The role involves collaborating with federal staff, state agencies, and technology partners to review APDs, develop modernization roadmaps, and prepare executive communications.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a federal background check for public trust.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of professional experience supporting child support (IV-D) programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise on child support enforcement programs and modernization initiatives.
• Support planning, implementation, and assessment of modernization efforts for federal and state partners.
• Review APDs, feasibility studies, certification materials, and modernization roadmaps.
• Develop modernization frameworks, playbooks, procurement guidance, and reusable assets.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and engagement activities with federal/state partners.
• Analyze modernization portfolios, project performance, and governance structures.
• Create executive briefings, reports, and strategic communications for leadership.
• Collaborate with data/tech/program teams to identify modernization opportunities.
