Job summary

Nationwide IT Services (NIS) seeks a seasoned Business Development Lead to drive growth within Federal Civilian and DoD markets from our HQ in Fairfax, VA. This hybrid role combines hands-on opportunity identification, qualification, and strategic engagement with Federal customers, industry partners, and internal teams to shape pursuit strategies.

You will build and manage a robust opportunity pipeline, analyze requirements and acquisition timetables, and contribute to proposals and win

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 5-7+ years of Federal government business development experience.
• Knowledge of Federal acquisition processes and pipeline management.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and pursue new federal opportunities in Civilian and DoD.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline aligned with strategic objectives.
• Research customer missions, budgets, timelines, and procurement strategies.
• Support capture activities, teaming, and proposal development.
• Engage with Federal customers and industry partners to strengthen relationships.
