Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Financial Analyst (Mid) to support Civil Engineer Financial Manager at Hickam AFB, Hawaii. The role manages financial data, monitors budget execution, processes funding documents, and supports reimbursable agreements, ensuring audit-ready fiscal records.

Responsibilities include tracking spend plans, obligations, and program costs, preparing funding reports, and assisting with shop-rate calculations and cost deviations. CAC required; DoD clearance favorable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent from an accredited institution within the 50 United States.
• Minimum five years of financial-analysis experience.
• Minimum three years of military facility or infrastructure experience.
• CAC and DoD clearance eligibility (favorable)

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, reconcile, and track funding documents in NexGen IT.
• Ensure funding-document activity aligns with DEAMS transactions.
• Prepare monthly funding-document status reports with balances and burn rates.
• Track execution of the spend plan, obligations, and program costs.
• Prepare weekly and monthly budget-execution reviews and status reports.
• Support creation and validation of reimbursable invoices and reports.
• Review tasks and validate costs for reimbursable activities.
• Support shop-rate reviews and cost deviation identification.
• Prepare shop-rate calculation packages and recommendations for pay-table updates.
