Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking an Engineering Project Manager (Mid) for on-site work at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI. The role supports long-range installation planning and project execution by defining, scoping, coordinating, and programming facility and infrastructure requirements for funding and design.

The position requires CAC and a favorable background investigation, with five years of project-management experience and three years in military facilities.

Qualifications

• CAC is required and DoD clearance must be obtainable.
• Five years of engineering project-management experience.
• Three years of military facility or infrastructure experience.
• Pass pre-employment qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Translate IDP priorities into actionable project requirements and scopes of work.
• Conduct site visits and scoping charrettes to validate facility and infrastructure deficiencies.
• Develop comprehensive Project Requirement Documents describing scope, existing conditions, and mission impacts.
• Develop, coordinate, route, and track DD Form 1391 packages for SRM and MILCON requirements in NexGen IT/TRIRIGA.
• Evaluate technical alternatives and prepare alternatives-analysis and course-of-action briefs.
• Coordinate with Cost Estimators to assess lifecycle costs, financial feasibility, and mission impacts.
• Coordinate project development with Community Planners, AMP managers, Environmental personnel, Fire/Safety, end users, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare project coordination logs, AF Form 332 packages, stakeholder-signature packages, and compliance checklists.
• Serve as a liaison to mission partners, community leaders, and design agencies.
