Job summary

Factory is seeking innovative Software Engineers to join our founding Federal team. You will build AI systems for government agencies, bringing Factory to secure, classified, and air-gapped environments with on-site collaboration with federal customers.

You will work on deploying the platform in GovCloud and on-premises, integrating with DoD tools, and ensuring rigorous security and compliance, including FedRAMP High and IL5/IL6.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on software engineering experience after degree.
• Demonstrated proficiency with LLMs and AI/ML techniques in software engineering.
• Self-motivated with ability to navigate ambiguous projects from concept to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven agentic systems for federal missions.
• Deploy and harden the Factory Platform in GovCloud, on-premises, and air-gapped networks.
• Build security and compliance, including FedRAMP High and DoD IL5/IL6.
• Develop guardrails, observability, and explainability for government users.
• Engage with federal customers on-site when needed to define requirements and deliver production deployments.
• Integrate with DoD and government tooling (CI/CD, source control, ticketing).
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and Federal GTM teams on roadmaps.
