Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Senior AI Governance Lead to directly support executive decisionmakers within a major US federal agency. You will champion safe, secure, and compliant AI deployment across the enterprise, bridging AI innovation with cybersecurity and federal policy requirements in multi-cloud architectures.

You will advise the CTO on governance, help author policy memos, and work with cybersecurity, data science, cloud, and legal teams to embed governance into the system development

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience advising C-suite executives and governance teams.
• Experience writing federal policy memos, directives, or implementation plans.
• Knowledge of NIST frameworks and FedRAMP processes.

Responsibilities

• Advise CTO on AI governance, risk management, and policy interpretation.
• Author and institutionalize federal governance standards for agency-wide AI usage.
• Embed governance metrics into the system development lifecycle with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee security and compliance reviews of AI models across multi-cloud environments.
• Ensure alignment with executive orders, OMB mandates, and cybersecurity standards.
• Evaluate AI pipeline vulnerabilities and design mitigation guardrails.
• Lead full AI Operating Model Governance and unify lifecycle processes.
