Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an AI Gateway Security Engineer, Lead, to design and secure AI gateway capabilities across diverse multi-cloud and federal environments. You will mentor team members, drive secure API integrations, and advance governance and automation using Kubernetes, Terraform, and policy-as-code.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership with deep expertise in cloud security, AI/ML integration, and secure architecture.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity operations, security engineering, or vulnerability management.
Experience deploying AI security measures such as AI gateways and guardrails in large multi-cloud environments.
Experience with API integrations and machine-to-machine authentication and authorization (OAuth).
Experience with AI application/agent architectures including LLM inference, MCP, and A2A.

Responsibilities

Designs, deploys, integrates, and maintains enterprise AI gateway capabilities across multi-cloud and federal environments.
Leads implementation of AI security controls, guardrails, policy enforcement, secure API integrations, and m2m authentication for LLM inference and agent architectures.
Automates policy-as-code, remediation workflows, and governance using Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, APIs, scripting, and OPA.
