Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks an Artificial Intelligence and Privacy Associate General Counsel to guide AI governance, privacy compliance, and risk management across government and commercial clients. You will collaborate with CTO, Legal, Ethics & Compliance, and business leaders to align AI initiatives with regulatory requirements while advancing Booz Allen’s AI strategy.

The role requires a J.D., active U.S. bar, 5+ years experience in AI, privacy, or data rights, and the ability to translate

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal with AI, risk management, ML, or data rights.
Experience with privacy laws, frameworks and controls such as GDPR, CCPA, BIPA, and HIPAA.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business-centric legal solutions.
Experience negotiating terms for use of AI technologies.

Responsibilities

Advise on legal aspects of the AI Risk Management Program.
Review AI initiatives for risk and communicate precautions to the business.
Contribute to AI policies, risk tolerance, strategy and ethics.
Engage with procurement, risk, tech, cybersecurity, and communications teams on AI agreements.
Monitor regulatory changes and government directives affecting AI use.
Apply knowledge of federal rules, legislation, and contracts to AI.
Advise on privacy issues from GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA and related regs.
