Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a customer-facing solutions architect for federal public sector solutions. You will design, demonstrate, and steer adoption of Agentforce and related AI-enabled platforms to meet government missions.

This role requires deep technical and executive-level communication skills to guide customers from evaluation through activation. You will lead workshops, develop proofs of concept, and ensure security and compliance in complex multi-tier architectures while collaborating

Qualifications

• 7+ years customer-facing solution/technical architecture (pre-sales, consulting, implementation) with increasing scope/influence.
• Degree in Computer Science required (B.S., Master’s, or Ph.D.).
• Proficiency of Salesforce Core (Public Sector Solutions, Sales, Service, Experience Cloud) and the Data 360/Agentforce stack.
• Agentic + AI fluency: practical understanding of LLMs, RAG/grounding, evaluation concepts, and how agentic systems behave in production.
• Experience with agentic engineering tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Agentforce Vibes, etc).
• Executive + technical communication: able to lead whiteboards and communicate with developers and C-suite with equal fluency.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions with federal stakeholders to scope agentic solution use cases and ROI.
• Build demonstrations and POCs showing autonomous AI agents automating federal workflows and citizen services.
• Deliver world-class product demonstrations illustrating agency mission alignment with functional requirements.
• Create end-to-end architectures integrating Salesforce Agentic Platform with security and enterprise needs to win.
• Lead hands-on technical workshops for agency IT leads and Enterprise Architects.
• Present technical solutions to GS/Executive leadership and political appointees with clarity.
