Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a customer-facing Solutions Engineer in the Federal Public Sector to design, build, and demonstrate Agentic AI solutions for government missions. You will lead discovery, craft proof points, and guide architects through activation and adoption.

You will present to GS/Executive leadership, drive RFI/RFP responses, and define deployment strategies leveraging the Agentforce stack and modern data architectures. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years customer-facing solution/technical architecture
• Degree in Computer Science (B.S., M.S., or Ph.D.)
• Proficiency of Salesforce Core (Public Sector Solutions, Sales, Service, Experience Cloud)
• Agentic + AI fluency: understanding of LLMs, RAG/grounding, evaluation concepts
• Experience with agentic engineering tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Agentforce Vibes)
• Ability to run technical & business discovery to define agentic solution use cases
• Executive + technical communication: can present to developers and C-suite
• Deep technical command of multi-tier architectures, SQL/SOQL, HTML5/CSS3/JS
• Growth mindset and willingness to enable, train, certify
• US Citizenship Required

Responsibilities

• Lead deep technical and business discovery sessions with federal stakeholders to uncover gaps and translate outcomes into architecture and POC
• Build high-impact demonstrations and POCs on the platform showing autonomous AI agents liberating workflows
• Deliver product demonstrations that map to agency missions and functional requirements
• Create end-to-end architectures integrating Salesforce Agentic Enterprise Platform with security requirements
• Design and lead hands-on technical workshops and Deep Dives for agency IT leads
• Present technical solutions to GS/Executive leadership, simplifying complex tech into mission outcomes
• Lead RFI/RFP responses ensuring technical accuracy and security compliance
• Drive activation with customers on agent definition, configuration, and deployment strategy
• Identify automation opportunities by extracting process and technical requirements
• Create reusable accelerators and playbooks to scale delivery
• Capture Voice of the Customer into Product messaging and plays
• Utilize modern 3rd-party tools and AI-assisted coding for platform configurations
