Job summary

Bodwé Federal Services seeks an experienced Federal A/E Project Manager to deliver architectural, engineering, and facility projects for federal clients in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. You will manage a portfolio from scope definition through design, construction administration, and closeout, interfacing with CORs and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of federal A/E or construction project-management experience.
• Experience managing A/E or facility projects for federal government clients, including direct interaction with CORs or other federal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience managing a portfolio of A/E or facility projects at different stages of planning, design, construction, and clos.
• Experience with renovation of existing and occupied buildings.
• Strong client‑facing communication, meeting facilitation, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to client facilities throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary day‑to‑day point of contact for federal clients, including CORs and facility representatives.
• Lead kickoff meetings, design reviews, progress meetings, and client coordination, documenting decisions and risks.
• Manage multiple federal A/E projects from assignment through design, construction, and closeout.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and specialty consultants to deliver complete, constructible projects.
• Ensure compliance with federal requirements, codes, accessibility, life-safety, and client standards.
• Mentor junior Project Managers and technical staff in project‑delivery practices.
