Job summary

Bodwé Group Companies is seeking an experienced Federal A/E Project Manager to deliver architectural, engineering, and facility projects for federal clients in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The role demands strong client-facing communication and leadership across multiple disciplines.

You will manage scope, schedule, budgets, and staffing; coordinate reviews, approvals, and government input, while ensuring compliance with federal standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of Federal A/E or construction project-management experience.
• Experience managing A/E or facility projects for federal government clients.
• Experience renovating existing and occupied buildings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day interface for federal clients, managing multiple projects from scope through closeout.
• Lead kickoff meetings, design reviews, progress meetings, and client coordination; document decisions and actions.
• Manage project budgets, staffing, schedules, and deliverables; monitor performance and risks.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and ensure constructible, compliant deliverables.
• Ensure quality-control reviews and compliance with federal requirements; manage RFIs and submittals.
• Mentor and develop project managers and staff; promote accountability and client service.
