Boise Independent School District is seeking a classified staff member to assist with food service, including meals at secondary and elementary sites. Availability for additional days beyond the standard schedule may be required, with compensation on a time card.
Paid benefits and a comprehensive district salary schedule are provided for qualifying positions. New hires may receive credit toward advancement on the Classified Salary Schedule based on prior relevant work experience.
Must be available to work on additional food service work days not reflected in the FS work schedule calendar to provide meals such as breakfast at secondary sites or meals for elementary (if a designated production site). Additional days worked will be paid on a time card.
District employees will need to complete a transfer application.
Note: Substitutes and student teachers will submit the classified application.
New-to-District Classified employees may be eligible to receive credit for up to two years’ worth of credit for movement (steps) on the Classified Salary Schedule based on relevant prior work experience .Please complete the top portion of this form and provide it to your previous employer for completion. To qualify, newly hired employees must provide this form, completed by your former employer(s), to Human Resources no later than the date of their fingerprinting and appointment.

Index: 01/C/03 ($16.65/hour) to 01/C/05 ($18.00/hour) depending on verified experience for NEW to District Employees *Transferring employees or former District employees hired into this role will be placed on the "C" letter grade of the Classified Salary Schedule, but the initial step placement will vary based on a variety of factors.
