The Opportunity

About The Job

We are looking for a remote candidate in the upper Midwest, preferably in Wisconsin, to work on our linear filler equipment. The role involves installing and repairing this equipment, requiring a high level of mechanical, automation, and food processing experience.

• Provide basic and advanced training in all Americas for aseptic processes and Linear Filler procedures.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems, perform repairs or recommend solutions.
• Provide emergency repairs and be available for customer care at short notice.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and small repairs with client coordination.
• Guide third parties during installations and service visits, ensuring quality standards.
• Coordinate contractor work at customer sites.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical and mechanical CAD drawings, P&ID's, and flow schemes.
• Prepare reports, timesheets, and expense reports weekly.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, analyze trends, and recommend modifications.
• Advise clients on replacement parts and equipment status.
• Assist with commissioning and troubleshooting during installation.
• Run bottle and machine validations according to FDA standards.
• Respond to customer service calls, including after hours when needed.

Travel Requirements

• Approximately 70%, up to 6 weeks at a time.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 5 years of electrical and mechanical experience.
• 2-year degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering, or a technical degree.
• Proficiency in email, recordkeeping, databases, spreadsheets, and Office software.
• Clean driving record.

Preferred Skills

• Automation experience, aseptics, PLC troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Beckhoff), knowledge of thermal processing, FDA standards.

Annual salary range: $40,000 to $44,000 plus benefits, incentives, and overtime. Compensation varies based on skills.
