Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant, Technical Transformation on the Finance Transformation team to help optimize financial reporting for government and public sector clients. You will configure FCCS, draft ACFR narratives, and collaborate with county finance, accounting, treasury, and external audit teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of experience supporting governmental accounting and ACFR preparation
• 2+ years of GASB-based financial reporting
• 2+ years using FCCS and Oracle Narrative Reporting
• 2+ years performing reconciliations and validating balances
• Ability to travel up to 40%
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Configure and support FCCS to streamline consolidation and reporting
• Draft, review, and publish ACFR narratives and MD&A
• Partner with finance, accounting, treasury, and external audit stakeholders
• Map source data to ACFR presentation requirements and maintain reports
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
• Document policies, reconciliation logic, and process improvements
