Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant, Technical Transformation in the Finance Transformation team to support government and public sector clients. The role focuses on configuring FCCS, drafting ACFR narratives with Narrative Reporting, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The position requires 2+ years of GASB-based reporting, FCCS expertise, and strong communication and detail-oriented skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required and ACFR experience preferred.
2+ years of governmental accounting and ACFR prep experience.
2+ years of GASB-based financial reporting experience.
2+ years using FCCS and Oracle Narrative Reporting.
2+ years of reconciliations and balance validation.
Ability to travel up to 40% on average.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Configure and support FCCS to streamline consolidation, eliminations, roll-forwards, and reporting.
Use Oracle Narrative Reporting to draft and publish ACFR narratives and MD&A.
Collaborate with finance, treasury, and external audit stakeholders to gather data and resolve issues.
Map source data to ACFR requirements and maintain report structures and templates.
Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close tied to ACFR deadlines.
Document accounting policies, reporting assumptions, reconciliation logic, and controls.
