Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant, Technical Transformation in the Finance Transformation team to support a range of government and public sector financial reporting initiatives. You will work with FCCS and Oracle Narrative Reporting to streamline close processes and deliver ACFR narratives and related schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of experience supporting governmental accounting and ACFR preparation.
• 2+ years of experience with GASB-based financial reporting and county fund structures.
• 2+ years of experience using FCCS and Oracle Narrative Reporting.
• 2+ years of experience performing reconciliations, validating balances, and resolving reporting discrepancies.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% on average.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support FCCS to streamline consolidation, eliminations, roll-forwards, and financial statement reporting.
• Use Oracle Narrative Reporting to draft and publish ACFR narratives, MD&A, footnotes, and schedules.
• Partner with finance, accounting, treasury, and external audit stakeholders to gather data and resolve reporting issues.
• Map source data to ACFR presentation requirements and maintain report structures and templates.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities tied to ACFR deadlines.
• Document accounting policies, reporting assumptions, reconciliation logic, audit materials, and process improvements.
