Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant, Technical Transformation within the Finance Transformation team in the United States. You will drive finance process improvements and implement Oracle FCCS and Narrative Reporting to support ACFR reporting.

The role requires collaboration with county finance, accounting, treasury, and external audit stakeholders, with a focus on accuracy, policy documentation, and timely close activities. Travel up to 40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of government accounting and ACFR preparation
• 2+ years of GASB-based financial reporting
• 2+ years of using FCCS and Oracle Narrative Reporting
• 2+ years of performing reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
• Ability to travel up to 40% on average, based on client needs
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Configure and support FCCS to streamline consolidation, eliminations, roll-forwards, and reporting
• Use Oracle Narrative Reporting to draft and publish ACFR narratives, MD&A, footnotes, schedules
• Partner with finance, accounting, treasury, and external audit stakeholders to gather data and resolve issues
• Map source data to ACFR presentation requirements and maintain report structures
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities tied to ACFR deadlines
• Document accounting policies, reconciliation logic, and process improvements
