Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant, Technical Transformation within the Finance Transformation team in the United States. You will configure FCCS, draft ACFR narratives, and partner with finance and audit stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting.

The role supports monthly to year-end close, policy documentation, and process improvement. Experience with Oracle FCCS and Narrative Reporting is required, along with a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in public sector finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years supporting governmental accounting and ACFR preparation.
• 2+ years of GASB-based financial reporting and county fund structures.
• 2+ years using FCCS and Oracle Narrative Reporting.
• 2+ years of reconciliations, balancing data, and resolving discrepancies.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% on average.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support FCCS to streamline consolidation and reporting.
• Draft and publish ACFR narratives, MD&A, footnotes, and schedules.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, treasury, and audit stakeholders to gather data.
• Map source data to ACFR presentation requirements and maintain templates/workflows.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities tied to ACFR deadlines.
• Document accounting policies, reconciliation logic, and process improvements.
