Job summary

Grow Early Learning is seeking a Family Child Care Home Manager to oversee the Raleigh, NC FCCH operations and ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and state licensing regulations. This in-office role requires travel, budget oversight, and collaboration with subject matter experts to implement service plans and improvements.

Preferred candidates have a Master’s in early childhood education or related field and diverse experience, including Head Start and bilingual

Qualifications

• Preferred: Master’s in early childhood education or related field.
• Five years of experience in early childhood management, state licensing regulations for childcare centers/campuses and one year of supervisory experience.
• Experience working with Latino community, knowledge of the Latino migrant farmworker culture/lifestyle, Head Start experience, and Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of Grow Early Learning Family Child Care Homes.
• Develop written service plans and procedures to ensure compliance with HSPPS, state licensing regulations, CACFP and other laws.
• Develop and implement plans to ensure FCCH enrolled children receive all required services and progress toward school readiness goals.
• Ensure FCCH maintain full enrollment and monitor agreements with providers.
• Develop annual budgets for FCCH operations and monitor budgets monthly with Finance.
• Establish relationships with state licensing entities and subsidy providers.
• Work with governance staff to involve FCCH parents in Policy Council activities.
• Develop and implement comprehensive training plans with Training and Professional Development Department.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field
