Grow Early Learning in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Budget Manager to oversee agency and grant budgets, develop budgets, monitor variances, and ensure federal grant compliance. This in-office role collaborates with departments and maintains budgeting systems.

The position requires a degree in accounting or related field with significant budget experience; Head Start or federal grant background is highly valued. Master's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field with five (5) years of budget development and grant budgeting experience.
• Master’s degree preferred in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field with Head Start or federal grant budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the agency budget process including development, revisions, modifications, and budget uploads.
• Monitor budget-to-actual expenditures for adherence to allocations.
• Prepare monthly financial analyses and reporting for fiscal decision-making.
• Coordinate with department managers to review budgets and process modifications.
• Assist with preparing federal grant applications and related budget documents.
• Support compliance with grant requirements and tracking tools.
• Participate in external audits, grant reviews, and internal financial monitoring.
