Job summary

Montgomery Regional Airport is seeking an experienced FBO Manager to oversee the fixed base operation, including line and customer service, fuel handling, safety, and financial performance. You will manage staffing, negotiate service agreements, and ensure regulatory compliance in a high-tempo environment.

The role requires strong leadership, aviation operations knowledge, and the ability to drive efficiency while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience managing or supervising a fixed base operation.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated experience with aircraft fueling operations, fuel quality control, and fuel farm management.
• Direct experience with commercial into-plane fueling for scheduled air carriers, or comparable high-tempo fueling operations.
• Demonstrated experience with budget preparation and financial accountability for an operating unit.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass TSA background checks and airport access requirements.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily FBO operations including aircraft marshalling, towing, parking, and hangar movements.
• Establishes and enforces SOPs for all line and customer service functions.
• Ensures staffing coverage for demand, diversions, and event traffic.
• Oversees fuel receipt, storage, testing, and dispensing for Jet A and 100LL.
• Administers into-plane service agreements with airlines and fuel suppliers; tracks performance against SLAs.
• Prepares and monitors the annual FBO operating and capital budget; reports variances.
